Reasons to Invest
Adaptability - We have made our chassis and main tub design adaptable to produce more than just the launch model, with a chassis designed to have independent engine frames for larger or transverse engine layouts.
Environmental - Employing smaller, more economical and powerful engines for the base models, for more power the option of hybrid electric motors which also allow for electric urban drive and range extending. Additional to the vehicles powerplants, the bodywork will be constructed from composite materials rather than using large factories creating pressed steel panels.
Local Economy - Plans are to set up production in Mid-Wales, providing extra employment in a rural area while still being easily accessable for supply chain and customers. We have looked at local small business suppliers to provide us with some of the items required to produce the cars. Please note both TVR and Aston Martin are both building assemble plants in Wales over the next couple of years.
Accessibility - As we gather our development and production costs we are aiming a launch price for the base model at around £65-£75,000 which would gain us a much wider range of audience.
Development - Having already spoken to a list of suppliers and gathering our quotes, simplifying our designs to lower costs and speed up development. The use of 'off the shelf' parts for dravetrain, chassis & bodywork will also speed up development with a goal of 12 months from investment to pre-launch testing.
Franchising - Instead of developing versions to meet regulations set by other countries and producing left & right hand drive cars from one assemble plant, we could sell franchises (including plans, mould etc.) to interested parties across the globe who then develop the cars to meet their regulations.
Customization - Costumers can add to their cars production build list a number of upgrades including panel material & finish, a number of different panels, wheel options, interior trim materials, seat types and paint finishes.
Duration - Our Grav80 design has been design to adapt into a number of different styles to allow for around a 10 year production run aswell as a Hyper car spin off limited run over 2 to 3 years in addition to the main model. Also we have designed two smaller models that could be induced during the production run of Grav80 as the company expands.
Profitability - Even working on the base model we would be looking somewhere in the region of 33% to 40% profit and as customers customize or opt for higher spec models these figures would increase year by year. With the right staff, from the start we should be able to produce 12 cars per month or 144 per year from one assembly plant without looking into franchising.
Rewards - Investing in us will mean a year of developing the launch models and we our at the stage where chassis D&D can start straight away and the body buck can be milled for panel moulding. But once production starts, although year one is time to display pre-production models at shows and take deposits, sales profits would allow upto 33% return per unit after costs.
