Next from the Newton Automotive stable is the GT, a track ready road car. The 2.7 is now replaced with the 3.5 litre EcoBoost V6 pushing out 450bhp, the roof panel is now reworked to include an air vent feeding more air into the engine bay. With this extra power comes the greater need for more downforce and as a result we have redesigned the front splitter, added wings inside the side ducts and redesigned the rear spoiler.
Giving the GT more track presence we have also increased the cars width, increasing the wheel track front and rear covering the tyre offset with bolt-on carbon fibre arches. The front bumper has also been redesigned to house additional driving lamps, headlight lenses are tinted yellow with visible weave carbon fibre stripes above these. Extra heat ventilation has been cut into the rear window to allow cooling of the engine bay.
The option to have race front wheels designed to vent even more cooling air on to the brakes are available finished to match the carbon body. The side sills have also under gone a revamp for the GT designed to give the car a more ground hugging appearance.
Sitting the GT next to the R shows the important changes done to the rear. The wider track and wheel arches, the ducktail spoiler and even the altered rear camber.
You can also opt for a track style interior replacing the audio system for a plumbed in fire extinguisher system. Race seats with full head restraints and full race cage can be retrofitted plus the track engine boosting the power to 500bhp.
The GT would make a great car for both road or track. The option to choose Luxury GT or track day GT is up to you.
