The Grav80 name is inspired by one of Sir Isaac Newton's greatest works, gravity and it's forces on us and everything else on this planet. Even the logo is inspired by his works with the zero being modelled on earth and it's orbiting satellite moon.
A 2.3L 4 cylinder turbocharged, that's what lies at the heart of Grav80, Newton's introduction in the sports car market starts with a simply philosophy - 'keep it simple'. Centred around an aluminium tub with tubular subframes front and rear, engine mid-mounted and a light-weight glass fibre skin, weight saving is high on our agenda as is keeping the base models price as low possible.
The Coupe will feel light and airy due to our jet fighter style canopy, surrounded by light-weight Lexan windows and a flowing dashboard equipped with just enough creature comforts. Flow is important in our designs and you will this see repeated in many of the lines throughout our range, leading your eye on to the next feature just like the flow of air.
Grav80 was always designed to run a V8 with all of the major componants in the mid-rear position including all of the radiators. The only cooler up front is the Air conditioning condensor freeing up more luggage space under the front clamshell. The total chassis frame work is designed to be both a coupe and a cabrio which has opened up many different future versions of this model.
